Rehoming a rescue animal
The centre takes in many animals that have been rescued from cruelty and neglect, but sadly also animals that have simply been abandoned. They are all looking for someone to offer a new home, to be a friend and look after them. In return a pet will offer fun, friendship and loyalty.
If you have room in your home and in your heart to take on a rescue animal, please take a look at the list above. If you can't find the pet you're looking for now, check back regularly to see if your perfect match has become available or visit Find a pet to view other animals in the RSPCA's care across England and Wales.
Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic our Centre is closed to visitors at this time. However we are still able to rehome animals by a remote process and delivery of the animal to your home. Please visit the adoption process page of the website.
Many of the dogs and cats that come into our care have had bad and harmful experiences with humans so they can be extremely nervous to start with. It is very important to find the right home for these animals when they are ready. We always look for experienced owners who are willing to give them the home and time that they deserve.
When we have dogs and cats available for rehoming they will appear on this page – just select ‘Dogs’ or 'Cats' from the drop-down box in Find a pet .
