About Me

Breed: Lurcher crossbreed
Colour: Black - Fawn
Age: 1 Year (approx)
Ref: 248664

Swede, a friendly young Lurcher, is searching for a patient and experienced forever home. Swede arrived into RSPCA care as part of a case investigation and has spent a significant portion of his life in kennels, due to this Swede can understandably be a little anxious in certain situations.

Despite his challenging start, Swede displays a remarkably friendly personality towards people and he is a joy to be around. Swede enjoys the company of other dogs here at the Centre and engages in energetic play. Any potential canine companion would need to be comfortable with this active play style.

Swede may find it difficult to be left alone initially and would thrive in a home where he receives constant companionship, at least until he is fully settled and comfortable. Due to his past, a quieter home environment or an area with access to peaceful walks would be ideal to avoid overwhelming him.

Swede could potentially live with teenagers aged 15 and older who have prior experience with dogs. If you believe you can provide Swede with the loving and understanding home he deserves, please complete an application form.
