Bolt is a stunning Husky cross with a playful, affectionate nature and a truly unique personality. Once he feels safe, his fun-loving side shines through, and he forms strong, loyal bonds with those he trusts. He can enjoy walks with canine companions, but will need careful introductions to begin with due to negative experiences with other dogs in his previous home.

Bolt will need some further training when it comes to house training and travelling in the car, however we are confident that he will learn these new skills quickly with the right training and support. He has shown that he can settle well at night as long as his humans are in the same room but will need someone home most of the time during the day, especially at first, as he struggles being left alone.

He’s looking for a quiet home where he can settle at his own pace and ideal adopters would have Husky experience. Bolt can be a bit cautious and aloof in new situations, but once he trusts you, he’s all in.

Bolt would prefer a home without young children or small animals to enable the focus to be on his continued training and prevent him from getting overwhelmed. He can become strongly bonded, particularly to women, and will need slow and careful introductions to new people in the home. With patience and guidance, we are sure he’ll overcome this, and his bond with you will deepen.
