RSPCA Bristol Clinic/Bristol Dogs and Cats Home Clinic Nursing Assistant (Nights)

We require a Clinic Nursing Assistant to work nights, starting in April.

The role involves: 

• Providing a high standard of care for animals resident at the RSPCA Clinic and the Bristol Dogs and Cats Home through the evening and night
• Giving support and assistance to the duty Qualified Veterinary Nurse running the Clinic’s emergency service
• Running the Bristol Dogs and Cats Home out-of-hours stray dog service
• Helping to ensure the security of the Branch premises overnight 

We are looking for someone who has animal care knowledge and who is enthusiastic, cheerful and hardworking.

Normal working will be 95½ hours over a 14-day period, working night shifts on a rota basis. (Monday to Friday 5.45pm - 8.15am with one hour unpaid break; then Saturday and Sunday 5.15pm - 8.15am with one hour unpaid break.   Then the following 7 days Monday - Sunday off).

Pay:   National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage
