Our branch is again running this massively subsidised promotion to help local cat owners neuter their cats for just £15 (for a straightforward procedure). A free microchip will be offered if your cat isn’t chipped. Did you know that from 10 June 2024 in England it’s law to have your cat microchipped from 20 weeks of age?

Or eligible owners can get their cat neutered and microchipped for only £10 with Cats Protection.

Our offer is open to anyone in our branch area to help tackle the on-going problem of unwanted cats and kittens. Neutering also helps prevent the spread of diseases, such as FIV, reduces straying (and associated road traffic accidents from cats wandering long distances) and unwanted behaviours such as spraying and fighting (which frequently results in abscesses and associated vet bills).

Cats can be neutered from the age of four months to prevent the females getting pregnant whilst still kittens.  Did you know that allowing cats to have a litter before spaying isn’t necessary?
