Other useful local contacts

Gwent Branch is able to offer some financial assistance to help local animals in need. This is intended for owners who have experienced unexpected veterinary costs for their pet and are having difficulty with payment.

Due to the high level of demand for this service the financial contribution is restricted to certain treatments and fixed amounts. It does not include routine treatments such as vaccinations and other preventative treatment.
Proof of means tested benefits or low income is required before any financial assistance is granted, which will be in the form of a voucher, redeemable at the veterinary practice where treatment is to be provided
