Please help with Jess' journey

When one year old spaniel Jess was involved in a road traffic accident, her owners felt they couldn’t provide the treatment and ongoing care that she would need so turned to RSPCA Sussex North branch for help.

Luckily, thanks to a unique partnership with Arthur Lodge veterinary surgery in Horsham, Sussex North branch will provide the funding for Jess to have surgery to fix her leg. The branch have also managed to secure a volunteer fostering placement for Jess whilst she recovers from her surgery. Jess will then need further surgery to remove the metal plate that will be inserted into her leg during the first surgery.

“Being able to find the funds and a fostering placement for Jess will make a lot of difference to her recovery. Caring for Jess is expected to cost us over £1,000 and we are appealing to our loyal supporters to dig deep to help us cover these costs.” said Jo Worsley, welfare assistance coordinator for the branch.

We are appealing to our kind supporters to help us fund Jess’ surgery and ongoing care. To donate please visit
