Fundraising & Gift Aid Co-Ordinator Role
Here at the RSPCA Surrey Woking & District Branch we have an exciting opportunity for someone to come and join our small, close, and hard-working team.
We are looking for someone to fill the role of “fundraising and gift aid co-ordinator”. Some experience in both would be great but not essential.
We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, hardworking, dedicated, has a passion for animals and someone who is eager to take on fundraising to raise much needed funds for our branch, coming up with new ideas.
The job role is new to the Branch but a very important one. We are a self-funded branch, separate from the main society with our own charity number, all our income is generated via our two local charity shops and fundraising / donations. We are in the process of rolling out gift aid tills throughout both our charity shops, so the applicant would become the shops rep / support for this – full training on the tills will be provided.
The hours are flexible and no set days, just 21 hours per week required. Please note some weeks this will require working Saturdays and sometimes Sunday’s if a fundraising event is taking place.
You will be required to work from home, you will need access to an internet connection and a laptop. You can if preferred work from our office based in New Haw where internet is provided. You will be requited to travel to our two charity shops on occasion (New Haw and Horsell). The contract is for 6 months, to be reviewed and possible rolling contract.
If you feel you would be ideal for the position, please send a copy of your covering letter, CV and references to recruitment@rspca-woking.org.uk Thank you and good luck!
