We are a self-funding branch of the RSPCA responsible for raising money locally to support our animal welfare work.  

The branch is run by a committee of locally elected volunteers who are responsible for the management and administration of the branch's affairs.   We always welcome new volunteers so please get in touch if you want to help. Visit our volunteer page to find out more. 

We support our local RSPCA inspectors and take animals most in need. We rehabilitate and rehome animals in our care through fosterers and a private boarding establishment.

We cover Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme and Staffordshire Moorlands.

Financial and veterinary Aid.

We are not normally in a position to offer financial or veterinary aid  to animals that are not in our care. However thanks to the local CoOp community project we have been awarded funds to offer free neuetering to those on a low income or benefits.

Those on  benefits or low incomes can apply to us for their cat or dog to be neutered (other small animals may also be accerpted). We will ask for evidence (such as a benefit notification or wage slips etc) and if you qualify your cat/dog will be neutered free of charge plus, if not microchipped, they will be chipped as well. This will continue until funds run out. The applicant will need to use one of our participating vets and whilst we are not asking for a payment we will ask for a donation (but this will be purely voluntary as not everyone will be able to afford it).
