FLUMPY

About Me

Breed: Domestic
Colour: Brown and white
Age: Unknown
Ref: 41

Personality:
Flumpy is an energetic boy who loves foraging and digging while out on the grass. He is looking for a neutered female to bond with.

Behaviour:
Flumpy does not enjoy being overhandled but he loves fuss and will happily sit on your lap while eating treats. He will need one meeting where staff can discuss his requirements and answer any questions you may have.

Housing:
Flumpy can either be an indoor or an outdoor rabbit. This would require either a large rabbit-proof room, or a large shed outdoors with a run/aviary permanently attached. Minimum sizing would need to be 6ft x 4ft, and either accommodation must be safe environments that allow him to display natural behaviours such as digging and foraging.

Children/pets:
Flumpy can live around cats/dogs, but to be kept separately. Children would need to be at least of secondary school age (11-18 years), children should be supervised when interacting with him.

Vet history:
Flumpy has been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and had a teeth check. He has previously had E. cuniculi, which has been treated. He has a previous injury on his nose that has left a couple of small holes. This does not cause him any discomfort, but he occasionally gets hay stuck in them. This can be resolved by flushing his nose with saline. Please ask the staff more information.

Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £55. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

My personality

  • I may be able to live with a female rabbit
  • I'd be happy living indoors if you give me lots to do
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I like treat time and being hand-fed
