Oxfordshire Branch

The Denotones play LIVE for you in Woodstock!

We’re so excited to announce our first live fundraiser event since before the pandemic. The Denotones are ‘one of the best 60s bands you’ll ever see”! (https://thedenotones.com/home)

They bring the era of the 60s alive with their vibrant and energetic performance, and we cannot wait to see them.

As some of their Facebook reviews say…

“Kept the dance floor full, thanks for a great night.” H Clarke

“They were fantastic! Everyone was up dancing and all saying how good they were.” L Gibbard

“These guys are amazing, they sound fabulous.” L Darvell

As this is our first live fundraiser event for over two years, we’re hoping for a huge turnout of supporters, all bopping and swinging along for the night.

There’ll be a raffle called at the end of the evening too, so bring some spending money in the hopes of bagging something fabulous to take home…

 The details

Here’s all you need to know to make sure you have the best night:

Where? Woodstock Social Club, 44 Oxford Street, Woodstock OX20 1TT

When? Saturday 24th September from 7pm – Late (bar closes 11:30pm)

How much? Only £10 per person (£8 to social club members) and ALL money raised goes straight to our pets in need at RSPCA Oxfordshire. Get your tickets from the Woodstock Social Club direct, or email Jan Thomas at the RSPCA Oxfordshire branch on jan@rspcaoxford.org.uk.

There’s plenty of free parking at the social club, so there’s no need to worry about the car, just book your ticket via the Events page and keep an eye on social media as we reveal the raffle prizes.

Fundraising means a lot to our pets in need

Whilst the RSPCA is a large national charity, each local branch is a stand-alone charity. This means that we are responsible for raising funds to keep the Oxfordshire pet sanctuary facilities and foster homes running for when pets need us the most.

Pets like Tufty, who lost both his ears to disease before finding his new loving family, Bob who had been living rough with a nasty injury and Dinah, an adorable stray who was about to become a very young first time mum.

The funds raised provide vet treatment, food, toys, bedding, and a cattery. With the cost-of-living crisis happening to us humans, more pets are being abandoned and left to fend for themselves. So more than ever we need your help.

We would love to see you in Woodstock on 24th so we can thank you personally for all your support.

And don’t forget to book your ticket in advance!
