The RSPCA Stort Valley Clinic located in The Stow, Harlow will close for refurbishment from  Wednesday  20th  April 2022. 

We plan to  re-open on Monday 23rd  May 2022, when we  also hope to lift restrictions and welcome you back into the clinic but  please do check on our social media pages before contacting the clinic. We will not be registering new clients until we reopen

We are also closed for consultations the week beginning 11th April but will be open to collect repeat medications  during normal clinic hours

During the closure if your pet needs assistance please attend your primary veterinary practice which will also provide an out of hours emergency service. (All clients are required to be registered with a primary vet practice as part of the clinics T&C's)

Our  Out-of-hours emergency provider is Forest Veterinary Hospital in Epping - tel no 01992 575 790. Please note this is a private practice and out of hours fees will be considerably higher - all  fees must be paid at the time of treatment at full cost .

Our branch is unable to reimburse our registered clients for any treatment paid to a private practice whether it is to your primary vet provider  or to Forest Veterinary Hospital

Please note whilst the clinic is closed the telephones will not be manned, and there will be no provision for you to obtain repeat medications.  

We would remind clients that as a responsible pet owner, you must ensure that you have sufficient medication to cover the period when the clinic is closed - please have all your repeat prescription requests in by the 7th April.
