Goole RSPCA Dog Show Is Back!
Proudly sponsored by Minmont Pets Snaith, Goole and District RSPCA are delighted to be back at West Park Goole DN14 6UU for the Goole RSPCA Dog Show on Saturday 8th June 1-4pm (12.30pm onwards registration, you can register for a class throughout the event) With the cost of living crisis continuing to make life difficult for everyone, the charity has paws crossed that the day will raise much needed funds for local animals. The emphasis is on fun, there will also be lots of stalls and all set in a wonderful park which celebrated its 100th birthday last year. West Park Cafe will be open.
Whether you reckon your prized pooch would be champion at Waggiest Tail or a good dog for Sit and Wait, there’s something for everyone, £2 a class entry. The classes are Best Child Handler (12yrs or under) Cutest Puppy (6-12mnths) Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Waggiest Tail, Prettiest Eyes, Sit and Wait, Best Groomed Dog, Ten Years and Over (we love a golden oldie!) Fun Run Obstacle course with the finale Best in Show. 1st, 2nd and 3rd get their paws on a rosette and a goody bag.
All winners of each class will automatically be entered into Best in Show (overall winner) for a chance to win the 2024 trophy. Thank you to all our judges for giving their time to this event and we are also grateful to compere RSPCA Branch Partnership Manager Nikki Payne. The judge’s decision is final. Thanks to Protec K9 dog training who will be on hand for advice as well as a demo. There's also barking mad fun to be had with a ‘Have A Go Obstacle course’ £2 a go with all proceeds to Goole RSPCA. If your dog loves it, why not enter the Fun Run class?
