Rehoming Companion Animals

The main activity of the Branch is in rescuing and finding new homes for companion animals that for a variety of reasons are either homeless or cannot stay with their present owner.

Over the last nine years up to the end of 2012, we have rehomed approx. 2200 cats and 1700 dogs from this branch. You can see just a few of our "happy endings" below.

All dogs who are rehomed from us will have their initial course of vaccinations, worm and flea treatments and will be neutered.

Dogs:  For further details regarding adopting a dog from us or to see the dogs who are currently looking for a home, visit our find a pet webpage.

HAPPY ENDINGS

Join us on Facebook  and Twitter  to keep up with the latest news and to see how some of our rehomed animals are getting on!

Below are just a few of our happy homings, dogs who have their own forever families at long last. Our little gang of volunteers here get so excited (and emotional) to see their updates...

HAPPY ENDING: GENTLE JOLLY JET STAFFIE ENJOYING HIMSELF WITH HIS HOOMANS,
With huge thanks to Georgie and Lawrence for sending them to us, as we still think of him all the time. I know we shouldn't have favourites but Jet was with us for 7months  and we fell in love with him. This is what rescue is all about, finding the right homes with the right families, for the right dog.
