RSPCA Enfield & District Branch
The RSPCA Enfield & District branch is a locally based animal welfare charity that works to prevent cruelty and the suffering of animals. We are a separately registered charity that is responsible for raising funds locally from members of the community supporting us through our charity shop, fundraising, donations, pod sponsorship and legacies.
We serve the local area of Enfield and the surrounding areas. When possible we actively support our surrounding RSPCA branches through proactive joint fundraising events and assisting inspectors in animal welfare cases.
Every year we are able to rescue and rehome hundreds of stray, feral, unwanted and abandoned animals. Our primarily focus is to assist the RSPCA inspectorate in rescuing and rehoming animals from a range of animal welfare concerns. When possible we are able to assist members of the public also in rehoming cats, this is by appointment only as we are often full.
The RSPCA Enfield & District ensures that all cats in our care will receive a full health check within the first 24 hours of being in our care, followed by regular veterinary health checks and treatment. Furthermore, we ensure all animals are neutered, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. The branch also operates a trap-neuter-return policy for some strays/feral, please call us to arrange this.
Our branch is managed and run by a committee of locally elected volunteers who are responsible for the day to day running and administration of the branch’s affairs. In addition to this we have a large team of dedicated staff and volunteers who manage the day to day work and ensure the animals in our care receive all the care and time we can offer.
