Breaking news...

My name is Misty , I am a long term resident cat at Rspca Shropshire Branch.I cannot be rehomed as I have a few problems, unfortunately I  have some very sad news to report to everyone. Tommy our lovely Branch cat has died from a type of stroke.The vets think it was all related to his cerebral palsy problems.

Tommy was a very special little cat who welcomed every new inmate and helped them to settle. He was never aggressive to other animals.

He taught me how to greet new cats with my tail upright, to touch noses gently and never to hiss or growl at them.

I am going to carry on Tommy's work to try and help all the cats who come to stay with us feel welcomed and wanted.

My carers miss Tommy greatly.They say he was a cat with superb 'purrsonality'..and he was very handspme.However they think that I will be able to carry on doing the same important job that Tommy did.I hope so....

From time to time I will report back to let everyone know how I am doing.

I have greeted 3 cats already and things seem to be going well.
