Some animals need a little bit of extra TLC to overcome their ordeal. These animals are in need of a foster home where they will have all the attention they require to get them ready for a second chance in their ‘forever home’.

Like Oggie, a lovely lurcher who spent months in kennels in different centres looking for a home. Sadly he was being overlooked time and again and became stressed in the kennel environment. In fact he became so stressed that staff found it hard to keep weight on him and it was decided he would benefit from spending some time in a foster home.

He certainly enjoyed the creature comforts and was a very respectful and grateful 'house guest'! Spending time in a home environment also gave staff a better idea of what Oggie would be like in a new home.
