Rehome a pet
Can you offer a home to an animal in our care?
Stanley Park annual Dog Show was again a wonderful success this year! Weldone to all our winners and people who took part with their beautiful pooches! We raised a fantastic amount on the day and we would like to thank the other stalls for making it a great day. We hope you enjoyed it as much as us!
We had a fantastic day on Saturday 1st August when we held our Fun Mini Dog Show at our New Animal Centre.
Well Done to "Teddy" who won Best in Show.
Photos pictured were kindly taken by Trevor. Thank you to all who came and supported us. We are ever so grateful. If anyone would like keyrings from the day printing then please let us know and we can get in touch with Trevor to print. They are £2.00 each and half comes to the Animal Centre.
The cake stall went down a treat!
The total raised on the day was £550.50 so a massive Well Done and praise to all the volunteers/staff who helped make the day successful and to the people who came with their dogs and families.
A Special Thank you to Danny Whiston for opening the dog show and to the Deputy Mayor of Wyre for attending.
We hope to see you all on August 30th at our Annual Dog Show in Stanley Park!
Mort and Stitch are now called Ben and Jerry. They live with a lovely couple in a quiet area. The brothers are now head of the house and very loved by their new family. They like to wake their new parents up at 6am with kisses and cuddles.
Maxwell and Marvin (now Obi)
These little monkeys have landed on their feet in their new loving home!
We had this update from the new family yesterday.
"I have attached and sent a few pictures below from Max and Obi’s (as in obi one kenobi my husband is a star wars geek!)(Marvin) first weekend with us. They are both settling in nicely and have taken over the house with all their toys. They have both bonded with us well and like a fuss and cuddle up with us in the evening. The rest of the time they fly around the house chasing each other!! Max is a bit more hesitant but is getting used to everything in his own time and has started to follow me round the house with Obi. They have definitely started to show their own little personalities and we are both smitten with them! Thanks so much for all your support over the last week and useful emails last week, the house now wouldn’t be the same without them!"
Luna and Odin were brother and sister who went to different homes.
Both their owners have stayed in touch and just look how big they have got!
They were just babies when they arrived at the centre. Their siblings were re homed from another RSPCA Branch.
They have grown bigger than we could have imagined but their owners love them and wouldn't change them for the world.
