Theo the cat and his new best friend

Theo the ginger cat

When a pet comes to us via the Home for Life scheme, we do our best to find them a home that’s just right.

For example, a timid pet may prefer a quiet home; whereas a more energetic, sociable pet may suit a busy, bustling home with a big family.

The perfect partner

In the case of Theo, a cat in need of plenty of love and affection, we found him the perfect partner – a caring woman who could provide lots of attention, around the clock.

Her name is Sharon, and it wasn’t long before she got in touch to update us on Theo’s progress:

He’s doing really well and enjoying living with me. He sleeps on my bed every night and likes to place his paw on my arm. Thank you so much for letting me give him his new forever home!

Helping us be there for pets like Theo

There’s no charge for Home for Life, but we do ask everyone who registers to consider leaving a gift in their Will. That’s because gifts in Wills fund over 50 percent of our work with animals. In other words, they enable us to be there for animals who aren’t as lucky as Theo – or your pet.
