Sponsor our horse stables

Today, more horses than ever are in need of our help. In 2016, we took over 900 horses into our animal centres, and with cases of abandonment on the rise this number is only looking to grow.

As the biggest provider of equine care and rehabilitation in England and Wales, we are here to ensure that any horses coming into our centres are given all the treatment, love and attention they need to be nurtured back to full health. But, on average, it takes around six months and £5,000 to rehabilitate every horse we rehome.

We can't do this alone. We need your help to ensure we can continue caring for and rehabilitating more horses on their journey back to health.

Please become a stables sponsor today and help more horses desperately in need of our care.

Abandoned at just a few days old

Mowgli the foal in a stable © RSPCA

In 2016, little Mowgli the foal was discovered completely alone in a field in North Yorkshire. His mother was nowhere to be seen. He'd been abandoned.

After a shaky start in life, this plucky little foal was brought into our Felledge Animal Centre where he was hand reared by our  staff. Since coming into our care, he's been given everything needed to thrive including nourishment in the form of essential milk powder and equipment such as a foal headcollar, brushes and a rug for the winter.
