Furby nursed back to health

Firby the cat after recovery © RSPCA

Furby came to us after suffering horrible neglect - despite being given help towards treatment for a facial abscess, his owners had left Furby to live with the pain. When we found him, he was brought to one of our animal centres where we gave him all the love, care and treatment he needed to make a full recovery.

RSPCA Inspector Nicola Johnson said:

It took a long time for him to heal. Furby’s recovery was a big team effort and Valley Vets in Cardiff were superb.

Furby is now happily settled in his new home with one of our RSPCA staff. They told us:

He's such a friendly and trusting cat, full of personality - and he's loved by everyone who meets him.
