This gentle giant is a 2year old greyhound x.
He is a lovely boy with loads of love to give, he cherishes his home comforts and a strict routine at home. He will need someone to be home all the time for his settling in period as he does create a strong bond. He is a quick learner, and very intelligent. He would prefer a pet free home, he is good with other dogs and no cats. He is blind in one eye; however, this does not hold him back in anyway, he knows exactly where that tennis ball is going to land! He would prefer an adult only home, possibly secondary school age children. He is good off lead (if there isn't any distractions).
He is ideally looking for someone who is experienced in his breed to continue his training. He has a lot of energy and enjoys playing. Affection is key with Axle as this is all he craves.

Why I'm special
" I am loving and kind boy, all I want to do is please, show love and receive love. I enjoy my walks, I love to meet and play with other dogs, sometimes they do not want to play with me back but that is ok as I have many others who will. I am good off lead, I love to chase the ball! Sometimes I get distracted, but it is mainly because I just want to say hello to everyone! I am playful and fun, but I also have a kind, loving and relaxed side. I love to cuddle up on the sofa and I know exactly when one of my cuddles is needed! I am intelligent and a very quick learner (So I have been told). My search for a new home has taken longer than I hoped, I don’t know why people are not asking about me, I love my foster family and they do me too but I need to find a sofa of my own, I will be excited at first when my potential new family come to visit me, but that is just because I want to be loved. I guess I will continue to look for my new home, I know everyone is helping me in every way they can to find me the perfect home, I will continue to keep my paws crossed and hopefully I will get some good news soon that someone wants me, I would love that”
