A kitten who was dumped in the street with his mum and brothers is hoping for a new home this Christmas – by writing a letter to ‘Santa Paws’!

Six-month-old Marvin was found as a stray in the Cheshire town of Sandbach in July this year, along with three siblings and his mum. Since then, two of his siblings and his mum have been rehomed – leaving Marvin and brother Mark still waiting for a home.

The pair are among the longest-staying cats at the RSPCA’s Stapeley Grange Cattery, in Nantwich.

Tracey Wood, administrator at the cattery, said: “Marvin and Mark are two of our longest-stay cats and we have no idea why because they are both fantastic chaps. This Christmas, they will have been in RSPCA care for five months, so we’ve helped Marvin ‘write’ a letter to Santa Paws asking for a purrrfect new home.

“Ideally Marvin and Mark will be rehomed together, so anyone who is on the lookout for two wonderful cats to join their family could strike lucky with these two. We’re hoping that next Christmas they will both be curled up together by a family in their new home.

“Pet-owners love to buy their pets presents for Christmas, but all Marvin wants for him and his brother is a nice warm home and owners to make a fuss of them. We are really hoping that his letter brings him and Mark some magic this Christmas.”
