Buddy's story begins with him being found wondering the streets alone in a poor condition, he was brought into our care where he waited and waited but nobody came for him. Now this sweet boy is patiently waiting for that special someone to whisk him off to his happily ever after! Buddy has come on leaps and bounds since starting his journey with us, he has truly blossomed before our eyes into the cheeky chap we all know and love today. He does have a sensitive side, so it may take several meetings before he reveals his wonderful ways to you. Due to his shyness we feel he would be best suited to an adult only household, who are experienced with the shar-pei breed. Taking the time to get to know Buddy will truly be worth the while we can promise you that! Buddy's confidence is growing day by day, so is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will continue to work with him at his own pace. As well as his adoration for spending time with the staff he has grown to love, Buddy also enjoys indulging in tasty treats and exploring the great outdoors. He would like for his new owners to be around the majority of the day to help him settle into home life. This clever chap has proven to be a bit of a bright spark, he has a vast collection of cues he already knows including, sit, paw, down and leave just to name a few. He is always eager to learn something new so one on one training classes would be a fun way to put his mind to good use! Here at the centre he has shown to become very anxious around other dogs, therefore would like to be the only pet in the home. Buddy is a real little character bursting with personality, this beautiful boy is guaranteed to keep you entertained. He is just looking for a chance to live the life we all know he deserves, if you are looking for a "Buddy" to last you a life time, then look no further!
