Reading with Oxon Border Branch

Dog Neutering Scheme

Did you know that neutering (castrating or spaying) your dog can help keep your dog healthy as it:

  •  prevents the risk of testicular and mammary cancers and uterus infections
  •  may help in the management of some diseases including diabetes and epilepsy
  • protect your female dog from getting pregnant
  • stop your male dog from urine marking and wandering off in search of unspayed females

Do you need financial assistance with neutering?

If you live within Reading RSPCA Branch area & meet the qualifying criteria, the Branch may be able to provide financial assistance towards the cost of neutering your dog.

Please call 07853 892884 (weekdays between 10.30-4.30) for more details. All offers of assistance are at the discretion of the trustees of Reading RSPCA.

Assistance limited to one voucher per household and are not transferrable.

This neutering scheme will close once our funds are exhausted.
