PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU CONTACT US.
Following this route is the best way to progress with adoption.

*  Please complete the adoption application form which can be found on the right hand side of this page and return it to purley.adoption@gmail.com.
*  If you have had a home visit with the RSPCA already, please state this in your email, along with details of the branch that carried out the home visit and your application form in an email to purley.adoption@gmail.com.
*  Like all cats in our care, there is an adoption fee applicable.  This covers the cost of their care with us, including microchipping, worming and boarding.

Arlo has recently come to us, having previously lived with a family.  This change in Arlo's circumstances has caused him to be quite unsettled so we are looking for a new owner who will be experienced with cats and have an understanding of Arlo's needs.

Arlo was slightly agressive when he first came us, most likely out of initial fear but is now starting to settle.  Anyone considering adopting Arlo would need to be prepared to help settle him into his new home by giving him time and space to get used to his new surroundings.

Arlo does have some red hair dye on his chest fur, and this will gradually fade and disappear over time.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I'm independent; I like to do my own thing!
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
