RSPCA North Wiltshire & Newbury District Branch CIO

RSPCA North Wiltshire & Newbury District Branch CIO is a local, independent branch of the RSPCA. We're self-funded and a separately registered charity, relying on the public for support and growth.

Our mission is to ensure that animals in our district receive the care they need. We are the only independent branch to operate a wildlife rescue centre, RSPCA Oak and Furrows in Cricklade, where we care for over 2,500 wildlife casualties annually and answer around 7,000 queries from the public.

Our Home for Life programme works to find forever homes for cats in need. With the support of our dedicated Volunteer Foster Carers, every cat that comes into our care receives the love, care and medical treatment they rightfully deserve. We work with the national RSPCA and our local community to find suitable forever homes for cats who have been injured, neglected or abandoned.

In addition to our wildlife centre and Home for Life programme, we offer financial assistance for veterinary treatment to pet owners on some government benefits. From time to time, we also run local welfare campaigns such as free micro-chipping and free neutering.
