TINY

Look at this handsome cat!

Tiny came into our care as a stray aftern he took up resident in the garden of one of our staff! We have been unable to trace an owner so he is now looking for a new home.

You will notice that Tiny has an unusual ear - this is an ear tip, something cat charities and vets do when the neuter a cat so from a far they can be identified as being neutered. However this is done on feral cats and Tiny is most definity not feral! He is far too cuddly! So we can't quite understand why he was ear tipped!

Tiny was a little shy at first when he arrived and so will likely be shy initially in a new home so will be ideal for a quiet and patient home. But once he knows you he LOVES cuddles and likes to give affectionate head butts!

Shortly after arriving in our care Tiny developed mild Cat ‘Flu symptoms. It is caused by usually one of two viruses, and symptoms can vary from mild (e.g. snuffles and the odd sneeze) to full-blown ‘snotty’ discharge from eyes and nose, with coughing, sneezing and a sore throat (much similar to our own ‘flu). Tiny had mild symptoms of occasionally sneezing and had a slightly rattly chest and was eating and well otherwise. He had a 7 day course of antibiotics (Kesium) with the flu symptoms clearing up very quickly. Tiny has been fully examined by our Vet, and challenged with vaccination prior to him being declared as sufficiently recovered to move to a new home.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
