BERTIE

This handsome chap is called Bertie. Bertie is your typical playful ferret who lives life to the full playing games with the staff and his toys. His recent most favourite game is trying to catch a dangling toy, holding on and swinging around on it. When he is not busy playing you will find Bertie snuggled up inside his very own pillow which is a popular choice for the ferrets at our centre.

Bertie came into us via our inspectorate and is now waiting to find a fun family to take him on. Bertie is your typical ferret who can be a little nippy when excited so he would suit a family well that have handled ferrets before. He could live with children providing only older sensible children handle him under supervision of an adult. Bertie could also live with another ferret upon successful introductions at the centre.

If you would like to offer this handsome boy a home then please ask about him in reception or give us a call on: 0300 123 0744.

Thinking of adopting me?

There's a lot to think about before taking on a pet.  Read our rehoming page to find out more about adopting from the RSPCA.

If you see an animal you think is suitable, please contact the Newport animal centre staff who will ask you to complete an adoption form. A home visit is always arranged and everyone in your household would need to meet the animal. All dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets adopted from us are neutered, microchipped and vaccinated (all included in the adoption fee).
