Newcastle & North Northumberland Branch

National Trustees' Week 2nd - 6th November - Could you be a Trustee?

It's Trustees' Week and we'd like to say a huge Thank You to our Trustees for all they do to keep our Branch rehoming cats & dogs, providing animal welfare support and overseeing income generation.

Have you ever considered becoming a trustee for the RSPCA?

Start by becoming a member of the branch. Branches are a separately registered, local charities and their operation is overseen by an independent board of trustees responsible for the governance and effectiveness of the branch. Applicants require a minimum of three month's membership under their belts.

We are looking for a diverse range of individuals, to bring a wealth of varied skills and experience to our board, especially if you have a background in people management, business management, fundraising or income generation.

There are many reasons why people choose to become a Trustee, here are a few articles about Trusteeship that may help.
