Calling all Lurcher lovers! Scooby needs to find himself a new home where he’ll be loved and understood and kept in the level of comfort that all Lurchers love - we’re talking cosy rugs by the nice hot fire, warm padded jackets, double duvets to snuggle down on, and maybe even a nice comfy sofa bed be allowed to sprawl upside down on!
He’s a young lad who has come to us through no fault of his own. He’s quite tall, being almost Greyhound size, but he walks ever so well on the lead. He’s not keen on small dogs and would need to be rehomed to a home with no cats or other small furry animals. He’s a really nice lad but would benefit from follow up training to help with his recall. He’s very motivated by food which is promising for any future training. He has lived with children and been fine. Hhe walks nicely on a harness and lead. He is ok to be left for short periods of time as long as he has something to do, like a Kong or chew toy left down for him.

My personality

  • I walk nicely on a lead
  • I could live with children
  • I need teaching that it's ok to be alone
  • I'd prefer to be the only dog in a home
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I love to snooze
  • I love fuss and attention
