RUBY AND LILY

Ruby and Lily are a pair of bonded female guinea pigs that have found themselves in RSPCA care after a change in their previous owners circumstances meant that they were no longer able to care for them. The pair have been together for some time so are looking for a new home together.

Of the two Ruby has the most confidence and will often come to the front of her cage (especially when she smells fresh vegetables) whereas Lily is a lot more reserved and tends to hide away. Both need their confidence building so will need lots of socialisation in their new home.

As both are quite flighty when being handled they will not be suitable for young children and will need someone that is confident when handling guinea pigs. That said once they feel secure they do begin to relax and will happily sit on your knee to be stroked.
