Charity Shop Assistant Manager - Position now filled

Salary:           £16,500 to £17,000 p.a.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

The Branch currently runs three charity shops in West London and Berkshire. We are looking for someone to take on the role of Assistant Charity Shop Manager at our shop in Hillingdon.

Reporting directly to the Shop Manager, you will be responsible to assist in managing and developing the performance of this shop ensuring that income and profits are maximised and a high standard of presentation is achieved and maintained at all times. Additionally, as the assistant shop manager, in the absence of the manager you will have full responsibility for the day to day activities involved in running the shop which will include staff and volunteer supervision, training, stock selection, pricing, merchandising and shop administration.

To be considered for this role you will have a strong retail background ideally with experience in either fashion retailing or charity retailing. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will enable you to motivate your team to achieve or exceed daily sales targets. You will also be self-motivated, have a flair for fashion and visual merchandising and will be prepared to roll your sleeves up and work in a “hands on” way.
