Hertfordshire East Branch

Our First Shop

We are pleased to announce that after many years waiting to getting an RSPCA shop, at last our dream has come true!

This is all thanks to the two legacies that were left to our Branch by Diana Russell and Sue Hartley.

The shop, at 19 Churchyard, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, was opened by Pam Rhodes, local TV celebrity on 3rd November 2012 and seemed to be a great success. The Herts East Branch, would like to thank the volunteers who have helped, also the London Central & North Branch for their help and advice in making this possible.

The public have been so generous with donations but we are are in need of this continually to keep the shop stocked.

Having the shop enables us to increase our animal welfare programme and will hopefully raise the profile of the Branch so we can re-home the animals in our care.

We would welcome any donation you may like to give to the shop or we can collect locally if you telephone our office on 01462 672278 if you are unable to take donations to the shop.
