In 2024 the law is changing which means that your cat will need to be microchipped or face a fine of up to £500.
The new rules mean cats must be implanted with a microchip before they reach the age of 20 weeks and their contact details stored and kept up to date in a pet microchipping database. All owners must have their cat microchipped by 10 June 2024.
RSPCA Leicestershire, Peterborough & Rutland want to give your cat a present and are offering a free cat micro chipping service.

Woodside Animal Centre's one Fun Day event this year will feature fun activities for all of the family especially those with four feet!
We will have market stalls, food & drink, children's crafting and of course the Woodside pet shop. Your four legged friend can have a go a doggie agility , or chill out in the splash zone. We are holding a cat photo competition for our feline friends and all previous Woodside doggies are invited back for our grand reunion. All are welcome!
