Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch

The RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch is a self-funding branch of the RSPCA responsible for raising funds locally to support our animal welfare work. Our main aim is to promote responsible pet ownership and to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home those animals in need – finding them loving, permanent homes.

Volunteers and the generosity of our local community play a vital role in keeping the doors of our animal centre open. We endeavour to make sure that all the animals in our care have a comfortable and pleasant stay with us, giving them lots of TLC before they are re-homed.

We are a very busy animal centre servicing an area of over 400 square miles throughout Chesterfield, North Derbyshire and areas of the Peak District National Park. The animal centre is licensed to care for 50 dogs, 24 cats and various other small animals including rabbits, rodents and birds.
