Zeus is an excitable boy who came into the centre via an Inspector due to being physically abused by his owner. On arrival, his face was extremely swollen due to suffering from fractured cheek bones on either side of his face. Despite his horrendous background, Zeus is actually a very loving boy who is looking for an owner who can offer him support in a new home as well as provide continued/further training and socialisation that he desperately needs as he can be vocal around unfamiliar people and dogs.Zeus is currently walking on a harness and Gencon lead as he is strong on lead.

During his stay here he has developed a sensitivity to moving vehicles particularly lorries however is responding well to a training programme and it is essential that an owner carries on with this training. Zeus is an affectionate boy who loves to play, is always eager to please and is very treat orientated.

Zeus would only be suited to an adult only home due to his excitable and sometimes challenging behaviour. In addition to this he is only suited to a single pet household. He will require an owner with previous experience of large breeds.

Zeus is a very loving boy who just needs to be taught boundaries, he has so much love to give and really will make a fabulous companion with a patient and understanding owner. If you would like to meet Zeus, please contact the centre on 01253 703000 and ask to speak to the Kennel Supervisor.
