TESS

The lovely Tess found herself in our care after she was abandoned by her previous owner. She is a friendly and excitable lady who loves to be the centre of attention. Tess may be a senior lady but don’t be put off by this, she thoroughly enjoys going out on walks. She is very well mannered and currently walked on a harness and lead. Tess will walk alongside familiar dogs however is generally unsure around dogs she doesn’t know. We feel she is better suited to a single dog household where she can receive all the love and attention. Tess is very much a people dog and is always eager to please, she has such a friendly nature however would be better suited to a home with older children due to be bouncy nature. She is a gorgeous girl who will make a loyal family pet, she just needs to be given a second chance in an understanding home.

My personality

  • I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I need teaching that it's ok to be alone
  • I'd prefer to be the only dog in a home
  • I'd prefer to be the only animal in a home
  • I'm young at heart
  • I love fuss and attention
