Mickey is a gentle boy who has been transferred to our centre from another RSPCA centre in the hope of having better luck at finding a forever home. He is an excitable boy who loves attention and makes a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Mickey is an energetic boy who enjoys walks; he is currently walking well on harness and lead. Mickey was found in poor condition with a shock collar on, due to this he can be sensitive to his neck been touched more so with strangers, despite this Mickey is growing in confidence day by day. Mickey enjoys the company of other dogs on walks and may be suited to a multi dog household however a calmer dog would be better suited. Mickey has a fantastic nature and needs an active home with older children due to his size and bouncy nature. He has so much character and will make a great addition to a family.

My personality

  • I walk nicely on a lead
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I can be left alone for short periods
  • I get on well with many other dogs
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm always on the go
  • I love fuss and attention
