Maximus came into the centre via an RSPCA Inspector after being abandoned in a property by his previous owner. He is a friendly and excitable boy who loves a fuss. Maximus is finding kennel life quite difficult at the moment which is making him extremely anxious. To help with this, we have introduced a crate into his kennel which we hope will make him feel more settled and provide an area of comfort for him. Maximus is possibly suitable to live with a confident and playful dog as he can often be very bold around other dogs. He isn’t suitable to live with small animals and a home with late teenagers is essential. Previous dog experience is essential as Maximus will need a little extra support whilst settling into a home environment.

My personality

  • I walk nicely on a lead
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I need teaching that it's ok to be alone
  • I may be able to live with another dog
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm always on the go
  • I love fuss and attention

Please note the centre does not re-home animals during the Christmas holiday period. We prioritise animals we have rescued from cruelty & neglect, which may mean we cannot take in unwanted pets. Unfortunately we do not have facilities for rabbits at the moment. Unable to accept dogs until further notice.
