HONEY & DEXTER

Add to my favourites

Remove from my favourites

Honey and Dexter came into our care after being removed from a multicat household. They are both very shy around people and have clearly had little interaction with people and are much happier spending time together and relaxing. As their living conditions were very poor and there were multiple cats in the house, on arrival at the centre they were suffering from cat flu but now after some treatment they are looking and feeling much better but adopters need to be aware that it has left Honey and Dexter as cat flu carriers (please ask staff for more details). There is a possibility from time to time they may get flare ups of flu symptoms following stressful events which may require vet treatment, although we hope not. For this reason they are not able to rehomed with any other cats. Honey and Dexter need a patient and understanding owner who has past experience with nervous cats and someone who will spend time gaining their trust and building up their confidence. A quieter home is preferred with no young children. Honey and Dexter are both searching for a home together as this will help them settle into their new home having each other around where they can relax and enjoy their lives to the full.
