Birmingham Animal Centre

Interested in Volunteering for the RSPCA?

We rely entirely on volunteers and couldn’t help animals in our local area without the wonderful people who give their time to run and support our centre.

Our volunteers may work directly with the animals or by assisting with vital fundraising work and events here at the centre and around the region.

We've been lucky enough to receive lots of volunteer applications recently and aren't looking for any more people at the moment - apart from volunteer ambassadors (see below). When we have more vacancies though, we'll advertise them on this page.

Have a look at the volunteer pages if you would like to find out more about volunteering for the RSPCA. (Volunteers need to be at least 16yrs of age with some areas requiring volunteers to be 18yrs of age.)

Al volunter roles and appying is via the main RSPCA website  so please follow the link  volunteer pages

Be an Ambassador for the RSPCA

Spreading the message of the importance of animal welfare and the work done by the RSPCA is a vital way of improving people's attitudes and behaviours towards animals everywhere.

If you are enthusiastic about the RSPCA's work and want to make a difference, then becoming a volunteer ambassador is for you! We provide a half-day's training on giving presentations to schools and organisations. Email us to find out more.
