Foxy Roxy came into our care via one of our Inspectors. Her owners had signed her over to our care and after a check up at our animal hospital it was discovered she required abdominal surgery to remove impacted food. She has since made a full recovery and moved here to the rehoming centre for us to decide what type of home would suit her. She can be ever so shy in new situations and sometimes meeting new people, it's clear she is lacking a little life experience, however she is easily won over and is eager to please her handler (especially if there is a sweetie given as a reward) that she soon puts her trust in you. Once she is relaxed she is super affectionate and always remebers new friends who took the effort to be kind to her. Now we see the real Roxy showing her true colours, which is a fun loving, boisterous clown at heart. She adores playtime and zooming around our off lead area and she certainly finds her voice when playing Tug-O-War with ragger toys. We are currently looking for a home where she will be the only dog, only because she would need a little more dog socialisation to be a fulltime companion for another. New owners may find if they continue this work at home she could potentially live with another in the future. We think that with a confident and experienced owner Roxy will return all the love she's given and be a truly loyal, man's best friend. Children if present are to be of teenege years and above and all family members are asked to visit Roxy a few times to begin the bonding process
