This big girl is Bugsy, she came into our care from one of our inspectors. Unfortunately her previous owners were no longer able to keep her. When Bugsy arrived she was quite wary and it took her a while to settle in with us, it was clear she wasn't used to much handling as she was very hand shy. She will initially back away from you when you go to approach her but will a little time and reassurance she will come forward for fuss. Bugsy will suit n experienced bunny owner that has the time and patience to help bond with her and settle into her new home. We feel she could be rehomed with secondary school age children who understand that Bugsy will need a slow introduction, Bugsy has been out with a few other rabbits here and she seems to prefer a quieter friend, so could live with a calm rabbit in her new home. Bugsy is a large girl so will need ample space to hop around, she would be great a house bunny as this would also give her plenty of time around her new owner.

My personality

  • I may be able to live with a male rabbit
  • I'd be happy living indoors if you give me lots to do
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I'm independent - I like my own space
