Meet Blue, this handsome boy was removed from a multicat household by one of our inspectors, when he arrived he was suffering from cat flu, that had been left untreated. During his stay he has had treatment for his condition but it has left him with potential ongoing issues that new owners will need to keep a close eye on and seek veterinary treatment when need. Poor Blue was terrified when he arrived and needed lots of TLC to get him to the brave boy he is now. Blue would continously try and warn us away with a hiss when he first came to us, but with patience and love he has quickly learnt that we mean no harm and a few treats always go a long way. We have watched Blue's confidence grow day by day, whether it was finally getting the courage to come over and greet us for a cuddle whilst out on the floor or zooming around his pod playing with anything he might be able to find. Anyone interested in adopting Blue will be a lucky family as once over his intiall nerves this boy has a heart of gold. We are looking for Blue to be rehomed to a quiet home and with children of a secondary school age (if present), who are sensible and give Blue the time and space to adjust to his new environment. Potential adopters should be aware that Blue might take a few steps backwards once he goes into his new home and should be prepared to get hissed at initially, but should quickly come round with TLC.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
