BELLA

Bella was brought into us via our inspector after her owner could no longer meet her needs. Poor Bella was very wary of her new environment and would hide herself away and let us know she wasn't sure about us. Bella has been with us a little longer while we spent time in letting her trust us. She is quite content to be left to her own devices as she loves looking out of the window watching the world go by and having a mooch around the cattery. Bella loves her food and we have found this the best way of bonding with her as she cannot resist! She is now taking food from our hand and is happy to be in our company. A useful tool is lick-e-lix which she will happy lick off your finger. We don't know how much pervious experience she has had with human contact as she is very wary when we try to fuss her. She is an independant girl and if you don't go at her pace she will let you know with a hiss. Bella's new owners will need to have experience with cats of her nature and have lots of patience and understanding. She may hide herself away for the first few days so will need lots of nice hidey places but we know she is easily won over with food. Due to her needs we feel an adult household only would be best suited.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
