RSPCA Sponsorship

Times are tough for animals in the UK. More cats and dogs are suffering horrific cruelty and neglect or being abandoned than ever before.

We're on the front line, rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming thousands of animals with nowhere else to turn.

It's with the help of RSPCA Sponsors that we can give animals in distress the shelter, food, love and care they need to recover and have a second chance in life.

From feral dog to loved family pet

Suzie the Jack Russell cross is now living a very different life to the one we found her in. She was originally part of a cruelty case where she was found living with 14 other dogs as a feral 'pack' after being forced to live in crowded and squalid conditions by her previous owners.

Nearly every horizontal surface in the house she lived in was covered with faeces and urine. Rubbish was strewn around, and there was nowhere for any of the dogs to rest or sleep comfortably.

Many of the door handles in the property had been removed with some doors being tied shut, which made the rooms appear like prison cells where the dogs were housed in squalor and mentally distressing confinement.

After months of rehabilitation Suzie's gone from a frightened feral dog to a happy and well adjusted family pet; and is now living the life she deserved with her new owners.
