In Memory Fund

Sometimes we want to find a more lasting way to celebrate the life of a special person or pet. An RSPCA In Memory Fund is a special fund that helps to keep precious memories alive as you, family and friends donate gifts and raise money in their name.

At the same time, you and others can share messages, stories and photographs via a dedicated online space, so that as the fund grows, so does the collection of shared, precious memories.

You can use the page to:

  • Collect gifts online – perhaps in lieu of flowers – for your loved one’s funeral
  • Keep precious memories alive by sharing photographs, stories and messages with family and friends
  • Collect sponsorship money raised in honour of your loved one at special events or challenges
  • Arrange celebrations or get-togethers to raise money and mark anniversaries that mean something special to you.

Once you’ve set up an In Memory Fund, you have complete control over who can see and add to your dedicated online space. It’s easily shared on your social networks or by email. Alternatively, you may wish to keep it private, or just share it with a few close friends or relatives.

However you choose to use it, an In Memory Fund will allow you and others to share special memories about the person or pet you’ve lost, while creating a lasting fund that will help us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in their name.

My mum Carol absolutely adored having dogs and other pets around her. They were a big part of her life giving comfort and enjoyment to her and all of us. It seems fitting that the donations will carry on helping animals after she passed away.

Mike Coleman, in memory of his mum Carol.
