Garden of Memories
It's lovely to think that there's a place where our loved one will always be remembered. That's why we created our Garden of Memories in West Sussex.
It's a picturesque and peaceful place of remembrance that includes a pond which attracts kingfishers, herons and frogs.
You can dedicate a permanent plaque or bench there, which will be carefully engraved with your loved one's name and any message you choose.
There are three options to choose from:
- A small bone or diamond-shaped plaque, for gifts of £100
- A larger, rectangular plaque, for gifts of £250
- A wooden bench, for gifts of £1,200
Once engraved with your message, we'll send you a photograph of your plaque or bench to remind you of the lasting tribute you've made. You are then very welcome to visit the Garden for yourself, if you're able. It's a welcoming and peaceful place to reflect on the life of a loved one.
"Although Chester, a playful Portuguese Water Dog, belonged to my friend Carol, my older son Luis practically grew up with him. At our introduction, Chester was bigger than my two year old then and soon after established his alpha male status by snatching a cookie from my son's hand. But Chester was also caring and responsible. He had "babysat" my two children, and they had grown fond of him.
"The day before he passed away, we were privileged to spend a short evening with him. Luis was sad to see Chester go, but as a teenager, was reticent in expressing his emotion. We want to remember Chester, faithful companion of a dear friend and the dog of my children's childhood.
"The plaque in the beautiful RSPCA garden will remind us of those wonderful years."
