Scholastic Children's Books

Scholastic Logo RSPCA Licensee

Scholastic Children's Books have produced some beautiful additions to the Licensing product rage. A selection of 22 RSPCA fiction, nonfiction, sticker books as well as our 2013 and 2014 annuals.

The fiction titles are a series of stories based on real-life animal rescues. Each story features fictional characters, with the end pages telling the true story of our involvement in an animal rescue.

Alongside this sit a charming series of sticker books featuring wildlife, pet and farm babies, and a non-fiction strand beginning with ‘All About…’ This is a series of animal welfare books giving children advice and information on caring for cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, horses and ponies, as well as rabbits and other small pets.

Where to buy

The range will be sold through RSPCA Shop Online, supermarkets and high street, independent and online bookshops, as well as specialist pet retailers.

Scholastic’s aim from the outset was to produce a series of books that educate and entertain in a way that is entirely appropriate to the age group of the readers. At the same time Scholastic and the RSPCA have worked together to ensure that each book combines good animal welfare advice with a wonderful reading experience for young children. We are delighted with the results — and we think young readers will be too.

Ellen Camillin, licensing manager, RSPCA

Scholastic is delighted to partner the UK’s most popular animal charity. We know children are passionate about animals. Our books are designed to enhance young readers’ appreciation of them and to support responsible pet ownership. Furthermore, for every book sold, Scholastic will donate a minimum of 15p to the RSPCA to help save animals’ lives. We are thrilled to be working with the RSPCA to save animal’s lives and to be launching our exciting partnership.

Hilary Murray Hill, MD, Scholastic Children’s Books.
